I hear often, You are a God of surprises
and I have come to know that side of You
and I love it because it never gets boring
yet there is a beautiful other side of You.
The one that prepares before something occurs
the one that changes desires or places new ones
right before a shift or something new happening
looks surprising from the outside,
yet You’ve been busy working from within
so things align and make sense.
Looking back, there are so many things I never saw myself doing
yet at some point a desire was placed
like a little seed, a whisper or thought
and then a full shift.
So here we are now, and I know
the things I used to say never to
I now embrace and look forward to
and actually can’t imagine without again
So thank You for not giving up… ever
and for knowing me better than I know myself.
