An encounter on the streets we might not realise
that it can actually change the course of our lives
It starts with a smile, a conversation is sparked
and through a simple question, it all seems to start
Have you ever heard the good news before?
Have you ever heard that God loves you and has so much more?
Such as a purpose and plan for your life,
Have you ever heard all this before?
Did you know there is a place you will go
After taking the last breath on this very earth
Would you know where you would go?
Would you know whether heaven is home?
Have you ever heard of the gift of eternal life?
Freely received, freely give. Yet we all get to choose how we will live
Life and death, we get to choose, what will it be for you?
Life is easy for you to receive
All you’ve got to do is say Jesus I believe
I believe that you died for me
I believe that you rose and will come back for me
I believe that you can cleanse me and set me free
God I am here and ask that you forgive me
Forgive all my sins all that I did and wash them away
Fill me with your spirit and set me ablaze
A hunger for you and everything that you say
Help me to do this for the rest of my days
To be who you called me to be
And say what you want me to say
To be all that you called me to
Here is my life Lord I give it to you.
