You are mine.
Not in a possessive way but in the most beautiful loving way possible. You are mine. You are loved. You are chosen. You are called. You are precious.
You are mine! This is what the Lord says about you. You are His. His child that He loves so dearly. His child whom He gave His life for. That is you, you are His beloved child.
When I read that in Isaiah, I needed a moment to get that in. I am His, we are His.
Have you ever wandered around not knowing where you fit in, where you belong? Being around people knowing you don’t belong there? Being around people feeling like the odd one out? I had my seasons where I had that too, quite long seasons when I am honest, but God says I am His. You are His.
This is where we belong. The same one that created the heaven and earth, seas and land, the sun and the moon, every living being says: we are His. How crazy is that?
Maybe it’s just me but that really got to me. How beautiful it is to know that we all belong. As we are all wandering around trying to find our place, we just need to go back to the One that calls us His. Reunite with Him.
You belong and not just anywhere but to the One that knows you inside and out, loves you unconditionally, and longs to be part of your life. Sometimes we may feel like we have done too much wrong or that He could never love us. Some people that were supposed to represent Him instead, misrepresented Him, therefore showing us an image of them rather than Him.
But He loves you, He cares about you and He calls you His. You are His. Whatever you have been through, however alone you feel, let me tell you He calls you His and in Him you have a home.
If you have never heard that before, let me tell you today that you belong. You are loved, you are chosen, you have a purpose and you are wanted. Right here, right now you are wanted.
He placed you here for a reason and you still being here is also for a reason. He really loves you and cares very deeply about you. Let this be a fresh reminder in case you haven’t heard that for a while. He loves you so so much and He has a calling for your life, a good purpose.
